Preliminary Design
Bliss began as a personal initiative to create a visually appealing, easy-to-use mindfulness app. The earliest version focused more on functionality than visual hierarchy, prioritizing key screens like the homepage, meditation library, and sleep tools. The goal from the start was to keep things accessible, both in tone and layout, for users seeking quick relief from daily stress.

Final Iteration
After receiving user feedback, which praised the clear structure and visual appeal, I implemented a formal design system to bring consistency across all screens. This included unified font usage, button styles, and spacing to enhance clarity. The refined version also introduced smoother transitions, improved labeling, and a more organized layout across meditation and sleep sections.

Conclusion
Bliss was a valuable exercise in balancing aesthetics with emotional function. It taught me how small visual decisions, like colour, spacing, and typography, can directly affect a user's sense of ease and engagement. If expanded, I’d explore deeper personalization and more social features. As it stands, Bliss serves as a peaceful, inviting tool that makes daily mindfulness accessible, especially for those just beginning their wellness journey.
